With a lineup this solid, it’s not so much about discovering hidden gems as it is about keeping up. By 2pm each day, we’re already knee-deep in great bands, and the afternoon’s basically booked solid. That said, there are a few early acts that might tempt us to roll in before the coffee kicks in.
I’ve already crossed a few off the list—Panchiko, Shonen Knife, and Thrown didn’t quite hit the mark for me. And Didjits and Pegboy? Sadly, they’re casualties of scheduling conflicts.
But! There are a few intriguing possibilities that might just get us through the gates early. Consider this the shortlist for pre-2pm exploration.
