Something happened on the way to the preview of Rise Against. I ran across Drakulas. They’re an Austin punk band. And their guitarist does double duty in Rise Against (and has a GWAR connection). There isn’t much out there on them (read there is no wiki page). But this Austin Chronicle article explains it well. They’re on the treed “Karen Black” side stage, which is a super cool place to see a new band (Regrettes, Streetlight Manifesto, Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black) at 2pm on Saturday. Might need to cut out of Cherry Glazerr, but they look worth it. Saturday is so bottom heavy with awesome music.
